Graduates of this qualification will be able to:

• Plan, communicate and supervise work within a forestry or harvesting operational team.
• Manage health and safety systems within a forestry or harvesting operational team.
• Carry out safe behavioural audits within a forestry or harvesting operation

Graduates of the Silviculture strand will also be able to:

• Plan and manage quality control in a forestry silviculture operation using prescription maps.
