About the Role
This is not your average apprenticeship. Every day is different — one day you're working on-site at a dairy farm, the next you're in our workshop learning skills that set you up for life.

You’ll learn to:

- Install and service milking systems

- Work with low-voltage electronics

- Master stainless steel TIG welding

- Diagnose and solve real-world mechanical/electrical issues

-As you gain skills, your pay increases — starting with training wages, progressing to a competitive qualified wage.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to learning. No prior experience is required, just the willingness to get stuck in, work outdoors, and use tools. You’ll need to be physically fit and ready to take on practical tasks. While pre-trade qualifications or tool experience are a bonus, they’re not essential. All applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

Hours

Ngā Hāora  

40 hours per week during summer. Over our winter period this will increase and some weekend and stay aways will be required
