Learn while you maintain, improve & optimise a range of custom machinery in this hands-on role with this specialist manufacturer in South Auckland under the guidance of a highly experienced engineer and electrician.

The state-of-the-art production facility is home to a range of custom production machinery and a friendly high performing team that is passionate about their work. Learn in the fields of mechanical engineering, vacuum systems, compressed air systems and fabrication. Learn to build new equipment and work with internal and external suppliers.
This hands-on role has an ideal mix of routine maintenance tasks and continuous improvement projects. You will monitor the condition of the machinery, check for wear & tear, schedule service intervals, conduct deep-dive investigations into equipment failures and determine the best corrective action. You will be responsible for keeping all activity logged in the in-house PPM system.
